Dear Parents,
Celebrate National Red Ribbon Week with us. It is the week of October 27-31st, 2014 and symbolizes our commitment toward a drug free America. It is in every community’s best interest to take an active stance and support anti-drug activities. Studies show that young people who learn to say no to drugs are less likely to be involved in crime, delinquency and other destructive behaviors.
Our theme is: “Go Make a Difference-Be Drug Free”
· Please consider having your child complete an individual service project (a random act of kindness). Examples might include sending a card to the elderly, read a book to a younger child, cheer up a sick friend with a call or visit, pick up litter at a church or school grounds, etc. Once completed, fill out the bottom of this form and give it to your teacher for a special prize!
